Challenge
The previous gateway layout lacked engagement and storytelling. Static imagery and minimal interaction failed to represent each brand’s identity or capture user attention. Hover states gave little feedback, and the experience didn’t reflect Land Rover’s premium positioning.
Approach
I redesigned the gateway with interactive resizing and brand-specific video on hover. Replacing static environment imagery with real vehicle footage allowed each brand’s personality to come through clearly, while taglines and transitions enhanced immersion and visual storytelling.
Impact
The update transformed the gateway into an interactive, cinematic experience. Real vehicle footage and smooth transitions deepened user connection with each brand, increased engagement at the start of the journey, and reinforced Land Rover’s luxury image across digital touchpoints.
