What is this project?
A redesigned immersive gateway component that acts as the initial entry point for a users journey when entering Landrover.com, introducing users to each of the three core brands.

Brand Gateway Re-design
The Problem + Solution
Added interactive resizing and video on hover.
The layout lacked interaction and engagement.
Now brands show video, taglines, and focus.
Static visuals didn’t show each brand’s story.
Transitions create immersive exploration.
Hover states gave little feedback or immersion.
Control
Solution

Inactive columns fade to greyscale while the active one plays its video. Videos pause when not in focus and resume where they left off, allowing smooth, uninterrupted exploration.

Hovering over any part of a column reveals the brand tagline and triggers the CTA hover state, clearly signalling interactivity and reinforcing brand identity.
The hovered column expands while the others shrink slightly, creating a clear visual focus and enhancing the sense of depth and immersion.
